About

I AM Alexa Danielle. South Florida born with Panamanian & Colombian roots. A registered nurse and somatic healing facilitator devoted to helping people slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and feel safe within themselves.

My work is rooted in being of service. Blending nervous system regulation with intuitive, embodied practices like integrative energy healing, sound healing, yoga, and devotional practices. With a background in healthcare and a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom, I create spaces that are both grounding and transformative, where rest, presence, and self-trust are not luxuries, but necessities.

My path into healing began early. As a child of immigrants and a first-generation Latina, I was immersed in a culture rooted in care, community, and natural remedies. Being a woman in a Latin household meant being a caretaker from a young age. I was “holding space” before I even knew what that was. I found myself mediating conversations and observing patterns within my family, witnessing both deep resilience and unspoken wounds.

Wanting to help others and honor my parents’ sacrifices, I followed the path of nursing, believing it was the clearest way to serve. While I gained valuable clinical knowledge, I felt misaligned with a healthcare model that often prioritized symptom management over true healing. This led me to study functional and integrative approaches, where the focus is on understanding root causes rather than applying temporary fixes. Through this exploration, I found holistic and alternative practices that kickstarted my own healing.

During this time, my body urged me to listen. I experienced anxiety, depression, and thyroid/hormonal imbalances that revealed how disconnected I had become from myself. Striving for perfection, battling imposter syndrome, and carrying the weight of expectation took a toll on my health and my self-trust. That internal friction often showed up as burnout, disconnection, and a loss of clarity and confidence.

Returning to ancestral wisdom felt like coming home. I began to convene with my elders, eat differently, move differently, and tune into the intelligence of my body. Through yoga, sound healing, and energy work, I learned that healing doesn’t require force, it requires presence.

My journey informs the way I teach and hold space today. I believe true change begins with listening, softening, and learning to be with yourself. That is why every session is guided with care, intention, and the understanding that your body already knows the way.

Holy places, shrines and alters;
I’ve been all over in my travels.
But never have I seen a place of pilgrimage more blissful than the body.
